Our Refer a Friend program rewards you for helping others make their homes more energy efficient under the Government’s ECO Scheme.
You can refer anyone – new or existing clients – who may qualify for free energy upgrades.
Eligible properties can get free:

External Wall Insulation

Boiler Upgrades
Air Source Heat Pumps
Solar Panels
Most households on benefits or low income may qualify.
For Cavity Wall Insulation, non-benefit applications are accepted — but only for homeowners.
Under the ECO scheme, all upgrades are designed using a Whole House Approach, meaning we assess the property as a complete system — not just one measure. This ensures that all improvements (like insulation, heating, and ventilation) work together efficiently for maximum energy savings and comfort.
You’ll receive your referral payment once your friend’s property is fully completed under the scheme.
You’ll receive your referral reward once the referred property is fully completed and signed off under the ECO scheme.
Each property counts as one referral, regardless of the number of upgrades installed.

Customers are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon using the refer a friend scheme.
The Refer-a-Friend Scheme is for non-commercial use only. S6Energy reserves the right to refuse to apply the referral fee to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions or anyone exploiting, in any way, the Refer-a-Friend scheme.
This promotion is governed by English Law and customers submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts.

This section applies to a customer who is referring a friend. When we use the word “you” in this section we mean the referrer.
For every friend you successfully refer to S6Energy you can receive £200, provided that you and the friend meet the conditions set out below.
The friend must:
Use the referral link to sign up a new friend to S6Energy
Be a new S6Energy customer, live at a different address to you and be the owner-occupier
Have at least one of the following Eligible Services – Boiler Replacement Grant, First Time Central Heating Grant, Home insulation Grant or Air Source Heat Pump Grant. Multiple types of Grants within the same property will be counted as one Eligible Service; and
Have at least the one Grant installed at the address for 30 days before the referral fee is paid.
To be eligible to refer a friend you must:
Be an existing S6Energy customer; and
Not be a S6Energy Partner.
The referral fee will be paid within 30 days of your friend successfully having had their grant installed.
You agree that by referring a friend and sharing your referral link with them, that we may share your name with the friend, so that they know who has referred them. Your data will be treated in accordance with our privacy policy.
